Sales

EGS F&B Control combines sales volume data from your POS system with the standardized recipe and menu cost data to print out menu engineering, sales, and profit contribution reports - so you can focus on trends and decide which of your menu items need to be maintained, modified, promoted or replaced.

Sales data can either be imported from a POS system or can be recorded manually. The system is capable of deducting sold inventories from stock so that the stock status will be updated. EGS F&B Control is capable of importing sales information from numerous Point of Sales system, including TCPOS, Micros 3700, Micros 8700, Brilliant, Aloha, Dynner, PI Electronique, CSI, RM, Elite 32, IDS, Excel standard, etc.

Several reports can be generated from the sales module such as food cost reports, profit reports, contribution reports and menu mix, sales list reports, sales to date, and many others.

Recipes and Menus from CALCMENU Enterprise 2008 (formerly known as RecipeNet) can be interfaced to a Sales Item in the POS system so that the ingredients used to prepare them can be deducted from Inventory once they were sold. The Products in F&B Control can also be linked to multiple Sales Items from the POS, especially if there are several units sold to a customer with one type of product. For example, a wine could be sold to your customers in a glass or in a bottle.
