Interface with POS Systems (Point of Sale)
EGS F&B Control can import product sales data from your POS system and link it with the inventory and recipe files to produce a wide variety of reports. You can review sales and profit contribution per item so you can focus on trends and decide which of your menu items need to be maintained, modified, promoted or removed.
Ideal Food Cost Reports can be printed out so you can determine the total food cost variance of your operation. Comparing your actual and ideal food cost will show you how much profit you can be losing from poor food cost control. We can create an interface with most major POS systems, like TCPOS, Micros, Aloha, Squirrel, etc. Please contact us to verify for compatibility with your POS system.

Interface with Accounting Systems
EGS F&B Control can export invoice and purchase order details to accounting systems. Account codes can be defined for each product category. The "Export to Accounting" function allows you to create a file with specific details and codes that can be imported by the accounting software system. The file can contain the item name and code, category, price, quantity sold, purchases, and other information with a flexible date range. Please contact us to verify compatibility with your Accounting system.

Interface with EGS CALCMENU Enterprise 2008 (Recipe Management Software)
EGS F&B Control has link with CALCMENU Enterprise 2008 using one database system. Ingredient costs can be set to be automatically updated in CALCMENU Enterprise 2008 everytime there are price changes.
Raw Materials can be imported from either CALCMENU Enterprise 2008 or F&B Control to avoid double encoding. The units of measurement and categories from CALCMENU Enterprise 2008 or F&B Control are automatically linked after doing an import.
Interfaces with CALCMENU Enterprise 2008, POS, and Accounting are optional features of EGS F&B Control.
Compatibility with Terminal Services and Citrix - Terminal Services is a component of the Microsoft server operating systems that allows a user to access applications or data stored on the server from a remote computer over a network connection. While Citrix® access infrastructure is a platform that enables companies to securely deliver applications and information to remote offices and maintain those applications and information from a central location. These reduce administration and cost while improving performance and business mobility.
EGS F&B Control and other EGS Products are compatible with Terminal Services and Citrix Configuration.
Interface with Supplier Network
We are in an age of globalization and technology where everything is merged and can be accessible with a click of the mouse, even your pool of suppliers.
Nowadays, chances are, your vendors are members of a Supplier Network where their products and prices are listed so that clients could just go to the Supplier Network's site and consolidate purchase orders.
With EGS Products - CALCMENU Pro 2008, CALCMENU Enterprise 2008, and F&B Control, taking advantage of these new technologies and developments in your company's purchasing system is now possible. With the possibility to interface with Supplier Network, you can easily download product lists and prices from their Web sites to your F&B Control, keeping you with updated product lists and costing in your inventory lists. This way, you can make sure that your product costing is correct and you are ensured that you are earning profit from recipe and menu selling prices, not losing.
F&B Control is also capable of sending purchase orders using file format directly to your Supplier Network, especially if they have this feature as part of their services. This will guarantee faster processing of your order and eliminate mistakes and confusions.
